Behaviour Policy

Children will be given a welcome talk on the first day of each soccer school which will include an outline of the type of behaviour that is acceptable and unacceptable.

It is essential that the children play safely and consider others when playing; be kind, friendly and respectful to adults and other children; listen to their coach at all times; respect no go areas; and put rubbish in bins. Shouting, swearing, name calling and bullying will not be tollerated.

In the event of these rules being broken we operate a 'three-warning' system.

Child will be warned by group coach
Child warned by Community officer
Parent/Guardian contacted.
If behaviour does not improve after the three warnings the child will be excluded from the soccer schools.

Non Attendance

Could parents please inform us of a child's non attendance, for whatever reason, as soon as possible on the first day of absense by telephoning (01226) 211333

Refund Policy

Our refund policy is as follows:

  • Cancellation 1 week before start of school - 100% refund
  • Cancellation on morning of school - 50% refund
  • Non-attendance for part of a day - no refund
  • Non-attendance for a full day - 50% refund
  • Medicines & Medication

Barnsley F.C's Community Sports & Education Trust accepts no responsibility for the administering of medicines and medications brought from home.

If a child requires medicine it remains the responsibility of the parent/guardian to ensure it is administered correctly. If children bring medicines with them it is their responsibility to store and administer it themselves and Barnsley F.C's Community Sports & Education Trust accepts no liability for loss or damage.

Staff are qualified first aiders and will administer emergency treatment (including 'epi-pen' treatment when provided) when necessary.

Equal Opportunities

Barnsley F.C's Community Sports & Education Trust policy challenges discrimination in all areas of the organisation and we believe our groups activities should be open to all children and families.

We wish to ensure that our club meets the needs of the local community and incorporate equal opportunities in all areas. All children will be treated with respect and recognise that individual children have individual needs. No child will be discriminated against because of race, culture, class, religion, gender, ability or disability. The club will not tolerate language or behaviour designed to be offensive.
