New Disability Sport Development Officer

Barnsley FC have welcomed Hannah Philips as their new Disability Sport Development Officer. Hannah Philips starts her new role within the Reds Community department with immediate effect.

The two year post has been funded through the BMBC Aiming High Programme and the New Football Pools and the Football League Trusts ‘Make Every Player Count’ national project.
The initiative is aimed at increasing opportunities for children, young people and adults with disabilities to take part in sport.

Hannah said “Sport is my passion, I am looking forward to getting stuck into my new role, there’s so much to be done to increase provision for disability sport at Oakwell and across Barnsley but I’m certainly ready and looking forward to the challenges ahead”.
