Toby's Terrier's Programme

Toby's Terrier's is a 3 year project which will deliver a high quality curriculum time programme and also out of school opportunities for children to take part in competitive, recreational and social activities through structures pathways.
The project involves a number of partners who have joined together to benefit 20 local primary schools each year. Major funding has been required to deliver the programme with local solicitors, Raleys, investing a substantial contribution to make this project possible.
Toby's Terrier's will be a dynamic and innovative way of delivering practical activities in primary schools where youngsters can learn new sporting and social skills through links with professional sport. In addition, the programme will cover unit 10 and 11 Invasion Games of the National Curriculum. The funding required to deliver the programme is significant and has been achieved by the addition of a Sportsmatch Award, which has enhanced the business sponsorship element of the project.
Ian Firth, Senior Partner at Raleys commented that "Toby's Terrier's promises to be a dynamic and innovative way of delivering practical activities in 'hard to reach' Primary Schools within the borough. We've been serving Barnsley for almost as long as the football club and so we are delighted to support this initiative which will help a future generation to enjoy the kind of opportunities that were simply not available to many of out long-standing customers in their childhood".
